FSMO Role Placement Best Practice

So I have a bunch of domain controllers and a bunch of FSMO roles that I have to place. What do I do? Well, MS says to do the following based on their support article here which is summarized below:

Deleting Site Content Types in MOSS 2007 (Content Type in use)

I have been cleaning up our intranet portal and realized that the former admin had implemented some content types. We have streamlined how we are gathering information, and also needed to add some new content types. As soon as I started trying to delete the old ones, I quickly realized that there was more going on here than I thought. Specfically, MOSS won't let you delete a content type if a document is using it. That makes sense. So I went through my library and changed all of the documents using the old content type to the new content type. This time when I tried to delete it, same error.

Connecting the WMA11B with Vista (Firewall Settings)

I recently purchased a Linksys WMA11B on the cheap off of eBay. The goal was to connect my Iomega StorCenter to it, but haven't yet crossed that bridge. One bridge I have crossed though, is installing the software on my Vista SP1 host. Out of the box the "driver" downloaded from Linksys installed with no problems. I was prompted to install .NET 1.0 which completed with no problem.

VMware Workstation 5.5 and 6.0; 64bit (x64) guest OS support summary

If running Workstation 5.5 or 6.0, when client creates a VM using the New Virtual Machine Wizard, there is a list of Operating Systems on the Guest Operating System page; choose one of the 64bit OS editions from this list (Note: Do not try to install a 64bit OS on a VM that was created using a 32bit OS from this menu). Then the guest install is as usual. Also be sure to note the restrictions below for hardware and supported Guest OSes. If running a version earlier than 5.5, client needs to upgrade if they need 64 bit support.
