VMware Workstation 5.5 and 6.0; 64bit (x64) guest OS support summary

If running Workstation 5.5 or 6.0, when client creates a VM using the New Virtual Machine Wizard, there is a list of Operating Systems on the Guest Operating System page; choose one of the 64bit OS editions from this list (Note: Do not try to install a 64bit OS on a VM that was created using a 32bit OS from this menu). Then the guest install is as usual. Also be sure to note the restrictions below for hardware and supported Guest OSes. If running a version earlier than 5.5, client needs to upgrade if they need 64 bit support.

Thanks Whitakers Auto Body & Paint

Had a fender bender, and there is a new auto body shop around the corner from my house. The only problem was some tearing in the paint on the front bumper. Some places would have required that I replace the bumper. Once I explained to Alex that I was having the person who caused the accident pay cash, he recognized that he could do equally quality work with the existing bumper. No sense gouging anyone. Took the car in on a Monday morning and had it back at the end of the day on Tuesday. Car looked great, the staff was excellent, and I even ran into an amigo from my Maudie's days.

V-Moda Bass Freq Headphones (Thumbs Up!)

Wow...

Just got these from Amazon the other day, and noticed them in my Amazon bestsellers block on my site. They are sweet. For 30 bucks, you get amazing noise cancellation, great bass response, and clear treble. I am sure there are way better headphones out there, but for 30 bucks you can lose these and not shed a tear over it.

I will update this entry soon, but until then our friend Chris over at getyournerdon.com has an excellent video walk through of how to set the correct permission, create the database, and complete the install.
